The program of the Prime Minister meeting and having a dialogue with workers is an important highlight in the exciting series of activities of the 2022 Workers’ Month to “Strengthen the leadership of the Party committees at all levels, enhance the responsibility governments at all levels are interested in building the Vietnamese working class in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country” in the spirit of Notice No. 77-TB/TW dated February 24, 2012 of the Secretariat. The group of issues that workers care about and ask the most questions is the urgent need for housing, schools and trade union institutions to support workers’ lives.

In addition, employees also expressed their aspirations for credit support issues for workers, when having good credit, it will limit the situation of “black credit” loans; the problem of vocational training, vocational training and the desire for vocational training is very large among workers; handle enterprises that violate the labor law such as failing to sign labor contracts, owe wages and social insurance debts.

Workers also suggested issues related to medical examination and treatment. In fact, there are very few hospitals near the hostel. Due to limited time, workers can only go to the doctor on weekends, but on holidays they are not entitled to social insurance, so they face difficulties. In addition, workers also want to be assured of food safety, especially kitchens and markets around the industrial park; ensure security and safety at the place of residence and work.

Sharing about solving problems proposed in previous dialogues, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu said that one of the things that was resolved right from the dialogue held in Ha Nam was the reduction of electricity prices for the public. employees in boarding houses.
