Samsung W22 5G launched: renaming version of Galaxy Z Fold3, luxurious color, priced at $2,644

As usual, Samsung usually launches Galaxy Z Fold3 in China but under a different name, this time W22 5G.

Similar to Samsung W21 5G, W22 5G is just a renamed version of Galaxy Z Fold3 and has new colors, sold exclusively in the Chinese market. The device has a black back but hinges with golden, glossy, luxurious accents and a logo with the word “Heart of the world” on the back. The S Pen that comes with the device also has a gold detail at the end of the pen to match the device.

The hardware specifications of Samsung W22 5G are still similar to the Galaxy Z Fold3 including a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED external screen that supports a resolution of 2268 x 832 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, while the internal screen of Dynamic AMOLED has a size of 2268 x 832 pixels. 7.6 inch size supports 2208 x 1768 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate. The processor inside is Snapdragon 888, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal memory. The capacity of the battery is 4400mAh with support for 25W fast charging.

The main camera of the device has a 12MP sensor with F/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with F/2.2 aperture and a 12MP telephoto camera with F/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the outer screen has a resolution of 10MP with an aperture of F/2.2 and the front camera on the inside screen will be hidden under the screen with a resolution of 4MP with an aperture of F/1.8.
