Taya Vietnam Electric Wire and Cable stopped production at the branch of Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province from February 16 to March 2.
The above announcement has just been sent by Taya Vietnam Electric Wire and Cable Company (TYA) to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE).
The decision to stop production is in order to comply with the province’s social distancing policy and the warning of the Ministry of Health, due to the complicated development of Covid-19.
TYA’s management said that the production stoppage of the branch did not affect the financial and business situation of the company. The unit also closely monitors the disease situation to respond, regularly contact suppliers and customers to arrange delivery times, to ensure stable orders.
TYA is a Taiwanese FDI enterprise, headquartered in Dong Nai. The company specializes in manufacturing electric wires and cables, construction and installation of electrical projects, with two factories located in Dong Nai and Hai Duong. The branch in Hai Duong province is a factory producing electric wires and cables that supply the market from the northern provinces to Da Nang.
In 2020, Taya Vietnam recorded VND 1,657 billion in net revenue, down 15% compared to 2019. Profit after tax reached VND 72 billion, down 19%.
