Patients from India transited Dubai, then entered Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) and was immediately quarantined after entering Yen Bai province on April 18.

Test result on April 18, positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

– DISEASE 2787 (BN2787) recorded in Phu Yen province: Male patient, 29 years old, Vietnamese citizen, address in Tho Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province.

On April 16, a patient from Japan entered Cam Ranh Airport and was immediately quarantined after entering Phu Yen province. Test result on April 18 was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Phu Yen General Hospital.

On April 17, patients from abroad entered Moc Bai border gate and were quarantined immediately after entering Tay Ninh province. Test result on April 19 was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Currently the patient is isolated and treated at the Ben Cau District Medical Center.

– DISEASE 2789 (BN2789) recorded in Ho Chi Minh City: A male patient, 22 years old, a Vietnamese citizen, address in Hung Ha district, Thai Binh province.

On April 1, patients from Korea entered Tan Son Nhat Airport and was quarantined immediately after entering Ho Chi Minh City.

The second test result on April 16 was positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.

– DISEASE 2790 (BN2790) recorded in Ho Chi Minh City: Male patient, 67 years old, Vietnamese citizen, address in Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province.

The patient from the US transited Korea, then entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on April 15 and was quarantined immediately after entering Ho Chi Minh City.

On April 16, she tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.

– DISEASE 2791 (BN2791) recorded in HCMC: A male patient, 31 years old, of Indian nationality, is an expert.

The patient from India transited Dubai, then entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on April 10 and was immediately quarantined after entering Ho Chi Minh City.

The second test result on April 17 was positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.

Up to now, the total number of Covid-19 cases in our country is 2,791, of which 1,570 cases of Covid-19 are domestic infections. Currently, the number of people in close contact and entering from the epidemic area under medical monitoring (quarantine) is 40,150.

The number of cured cases is 2,475. The number of deaths was 35.
