Natural disasters in the area from the beginning of the year until now have killed 03 people, injured 01 person; 320 houses were damaged, roof accelerated; 1,086 cattle died, and economic loss was estimated at 25 billion VND.

The Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption said that over the past time, the prevention and control work has received close attention and guidance from the leaders of the Party, State, and Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption, along with that the drastic entry of the whole political system. Thanks to that, the consequences caused by natural disasters in localities have been quickly overcome, the lives of people in natural disaster areas have basically been stable.

In addition to the results achieved, the preventive control work still has limitations such as: unequal awareness and prevention skills of the community in some places, especially in remote and isolated areas; The reception of natural disaster forecast and warning information of people in this area has not been regular and timely.

On the other hand, the training for the people doing the prevention and control work and the dissemination of knowledge for people in the area has not gone into depth and efficiency.
