Thanh Tri district said at Hospital K Tan Trieu had 11 positive cases of SARS-CoV-2. From April 16 to now, 16,395 people came to the examination and 16,511 people treated. Particularly, the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery (where there were SARS-CoV-2 positive patients) had 102 patients coming to this department for treatment, with 30 medical staff. The district has coordinated with related units to take 550 samples from the hospital to 130 vendors in the surrounding area; closing stores around the hospital; establish many medical control posts; ready plans to ensure essentials for service quarantine.

Director of the Department of Health Tran Thi Nhi Ha said that the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases announced that there is no room to receive Covid-19 patients, so the department has regulated and tonight will put 11 cases of Covid-19 in the hospital. K Tan Trieu treated at Thanh Nhan Hospital and strictly followed epidemic prevention measures, ensuring maximum safety. The city will open more concentrated isolation areas in Dong Anh and Son Tay field hospitals, ready to plan 300 cases with 15,000 cases to be isolated.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Chu Xuan Dung, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hanoi City, requested to continue strengthening the prevention of transmission from quarantine facilities; ensure compliance with regulations. Isolation area must have surveillance camera. Request the Department of Information and Communication to review the city report to comply with regulations. The localities shall direct the police force to review, detect and strictly handle cases of illegal entry. During this epidemic, an outbreak appeared in hospitals, so hospitals in the city had to do well in epidemic prevention because if a hole was left in the front line, the condition for medical examination and treatment was very difficult.
