In order to reaffirm the importance of green growth, towards the aspiration of fast and sustainable development, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has advised the Prime Minister to issue the National Green Growth Strategy for the period of 2021 – 2030, with a vision. to 2050 and the National Green Growth Action Plan for the period of 2021 – 2030.

Targeted strategy and action plan to promote economic restructuring in association with growth model innovation, achieve economic prosperity, environmental sustainability and social equity, towards a sustainable economy. green economy, carbon neutrality and contribute to the goal of limiting global temperature rise.

With the green economy and green transformation identified as an important long-term growth engine, Vietnam is actively implementing a roadmap to amend and supplement the legal framework to mobilize green finance and technology. green and encourage green production and investment, implement green transition, energy transition, move to a circular economy, low carbon emissions.

In that context, the Government of Vietnam has always determined that the business community plays an important and active role in the implementation of green economic goals and sustainable growth. “The Government, ministries/sectors and localities will definitely accompany and create the best support conditions in terms of mechanisms and policies so that businesses can feel secure to continue investing and doing business,” said Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc. .
