This achievement is thanks to the great contribution of Ford Ranger in Vietnam, the best-selling pickup truck model today. With total sales reaching 15,650 vehicles in 2021, up 18% over the same period last year, Ranger helps Ford capture 60% of the pickup truck market share.

2021 marks the 20-year history of the Ford Ranger appearing in the Vietnamese market with sales of 100,000 vehicles sold to the Vietnamese market. To prepare for this plan, the US automaker has invested VND 2,000 billion to upgrade its production plant in Hai Duong to meet Ford Motor’s global assembly process standards.
