Detecting a cluster of Covid-19 cases with unknown source of infection, with a judge and district police chief


On October 24, Hanoi recorded 16 cases have Covid-19 in which 9 cases have been isolated and 7 community cases.

New Covid-19 cases are distributed in districts: Quoc Oai (5), Hoan Kiem (5), Dong Da (2), Gia Lam (1), Ha Dong (1), Nam Tu Liem (1) , Son Tay (1). Distribution according to clusters of cases, outbreaks: Outbreak in Quoc Oai (7), cluster related to Viet Duc Hospital (5), cluster of secondary fever cough (4).

The outbreak in Quoc Oai has 7 cases:

1. NPN (female, SN 1981), address: Sai Son, Quoc Oai. On October 21, the patient presented with headache, low fever. On October 23, a quick test at Quoc Oai General Hospital was positive for SARS-CoV-2, then Quoc Oai Medical Center took a sample and sent it to Hanoi CDC to confirm that the result was positive for SARS-CoV. -2

2. NTT (female, SN 1984), address: Sai Son, Quoc Oai. On October 23, the patient was tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, then took a sample and sent it to the Hanoi CDC to confirm that the result was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

3. PDM (male, SN 1966), address: Quoc Oai Town, Quoc Oai. On October 23, the patient was tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, then took a sample and sent it to the Hanoi CDC to confirm that the result was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

4. NHT (male, SN 1963), address: Sai Son, Quoc Oai. On October 23, the patient was tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, then took a sample and sent it to the Hanoi CDC to confirm that the result was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

5. TQV (male, SN 1979), address: Thach Than, Quoc Oai. On October 23, the patient was tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, then a sample was taken and sent to the Hanoi CDC to confirm that the result was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

6. N.D.D. (male, SN 1977), address: Quoc Oai Town, Quoc Oai. On October 23, the patient was tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, then a sample was taken and sent to the Hanoi CDC to confirm that the result was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

7. DTTQ (male, SN 1964), address: Phu Thinh, Son Tay. The patient has a history of contact with the above 6 patients. On October 24, the patient was tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, then a sample was taken and transferred to Son Tay Hospital for confirmation, the result was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

It is known that in the above 7 cases of Covid-19, there are judges, clerks and officials of the People’s Court of Quoc Oai district. There are also the District Police Chief, Quoc Oai Town Police Chief and Quoc Oai Town Party Committee Secretary.

Beam related to Viet Duc Hospital 5 cases were family members taking care of patients at the hospital, then they were isolated.

Cough secondary fever has 4 cases.

The cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Hanoi during the 4th epidemic (from April 27, 2021) is 4,166, of which 1,615 cases were recorded outside the community, 2,551 cases were isolated. .
