Beijing X7 of China is a C-size crossover that began to be sold in the Chinese market in 2020. In the same year, this Chinese model was brought to Vietnam and immediately caused a fever. After nearly 2 years, BAIC’s Beijing brand has revealed the slightly upgraded version of the X7 in the Chinese market. Compared to the old version, New Beijing X7 2022 only slight changes in exterior design.Specifically, Beijing X7 2022 is still equipped with a large hexagonal grille but does not come with a glossy black brace with a license plate mounting bracket like the old version. Even the car’s grille has been changed. Meanwhile, the remaining details on the front of the car remain the same.The car continues to be equipped with a slender headlight cluster, integrated with LED daytime running lights, a chrome splint around the bonnet and a rather narrow vertical air vent at the two corners of the front bumper. Next is the chrome splint in the fog lamp socket and inside the central air cavity.On the side, Beijing X7 2022 is still equipped with a decorative brace behind the front fender and the door handle can be turned up / down. In the Chinese market, this C-sized crossover has two different types of rims. In particular, the alloy rim with 5-spoke design and 2 sporty colors is the same as the old one.The remaining multi-spoke rims have a completely new design. Behind this C-sized crossover, there is a cluster of interconnected taillights, located horizontally on the rear of the car. This rear light cluster is surrounded by a chrome brace below.In addition, there are horizontal reflectors and 2 rectangular fake exhaust pipes. Stepping inside the Beijing X7 2022, the driver still encounters a large screen on the dashboard, a combination of a digital dashboard and an infotainment screen.Below is another screen, connected to the central control cluster, to adjust the features of the air conditioning system. Next is a sports beveled bottom steering wheel, integrated function keys, quite narrow horizontal air-conditioning vents as well as a short and thick gear lever.Underneath the bonnet of the Beijing X7 2022 is still a 4-cylinder, turbocharged, 1.5L petrol engine block, producing a maximum capacity of 188 horsepower and maximum torque of 275 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.It is expected that Beijing X7 2022 will begin to be sold in China in the near future. Presently price of Beijing X7 2022 has not yet been revealed.
