Ba Ria – Vung Tau: Investigation of F1 case of 1440 patient exposure

On December 31st, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention in Chau Duc District made a quick report on the F1 case of contacting a 1440 patient (young people infected with Covid-19 after entering illegally).

Previously, on December 26, the Center for Disease Control in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province received a report from Tay Ninh province about the case of Ms. HTL (living in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province) being arrested at Moc Bai border gate. , then placed in a quarantine. Ms. L. is confirmed to be related to a 1440 patient.

One case was concentrated in isolation in Ba Ria – Vung Tau

Through declaring epidemiological factors to the Chau Duc district authorities, Ms. HTL (SN 1991) had a Malaysian husband (not present in Vietnam).

On December 24, Mrs. L. returned to live in group 1, Suoi Loi hamlet, Binh Ba commune, Chau Duc district. On December 26, she arrived at Moc Bai border gate when she was discovered and taken to a concentrated isolation area.

However, at present, Chau Duc district has not yet determined how Ms. L. contacted a 1440 patient, directly exposed or shared a trip illegally, due to reports from her family and over Phone number with Mrs. L. is not consistent

During her return to the locality, from December 24 to December 26, Ms. L. did not leave the house, only contacted a family of 6 people. These people are classified as close contact (F2), are in stable health, have no fever, and do not cough. The locality has issued a decision on home isolation within 14 days or until Ms. L. has the test results, not voluntarily leaving the residence.

In addition, the local government also requested Nguyen Dinh Chieu Primary School, Binh Ba commune to force all students and teachers to wear masks, at the same time supervise the class of students who are family members who have contact with Mrs. L .

Chau Duc district also focuses on disinfection and detoxification at the place where Mrs. L. resides; cleaning the surface of 2 classrooms for 2 students of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Primary School; At the same time, it is requested that the police force closely monitor isolated cases, continue to investigate and consult on this case.
