Aeon Mall – an enterprise specializing in large shopping and retailing centers – is operating 6 projects in Vietnam, including 2 commercial centers in Hanoi in Long Bien and Ha Dong districts. By 2025, Aeon Mall has a policy of implementing 16 more projects in Vietnam, including 3-4 projects in Hanoi.
According to Mr. Nakagawa Tetsuyuk, the Aeon Mall Hoang Mai project is in the final stages of investment preparation. Mr. Tetsuyuk said that this group has fully prepared in terms of funding, human resources and equipment to be able to start construction immediately after completing investment procedures.
The General Director of Aeon Mall Vietnam hopes that Hanoi will continue to support and remove obstacles so that this project can start construction in the third quarter of this year. At the same time, Japanese businesses also asked the city to pay attention to support the research and implementation of the Aeon Mall project in Bac Tu Liem district.
Before this proposal, Secretary Dinh Tien Dung affirmed that Hanoi will be determined to improve the investment environment, administrative reform, and create the most favorable conditions to attract both domestic and foreign investment, especially investment. high technology, clean technology. Mr. Dung said the city’s leaders were very interested, directed to focus on solving difficulties and obstacles for the Aeon Mall Hoang Mai project and assigned the City People’s Committee, departments and branches to coordinate with Bac Tu Liem district to answer soon. project group in this area.
Vice Chairman of Hanoi Nguyen Manh Quyen affirmed that he will direct departments and branches to completely complete legal procedures related to Aeon Mall Hoang Mai project, to start construction according to the proposed schedule of investors. With the project in Bac Tu Liem district, Mr. Quyen said that because the investor’s proposed location coincides with the green park planning, the city will direct the Department of Planning and Architecture to coordinate with the People’s Committee of Bac Tu Liem District to check control, introduce another location, suitable for investors.
