On the afternoon of October 13, the Ministry of Health said that it had just discovered 3 new cases of Covid-19 in our country, all of which were immediately isolated cases. Specifically:
Case 1111 (BN1111) in Bac Lieu province: female, 20 years old, has her address in Thanh Tho commune, Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province.
Case 1112 (BN1112) in Bac Lieu province: female, 26 years old, is located in Nam Thanh commune, Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province.
On September 26, the above two patients from the Russian Federation entered Can Tho airport on flight QH9495, isolated at the Student Dormitory of Bac Lieu Province. On September 27, the patients were sampled for the first time, and the results were negative for SARS-CoV-2.
On October 12, the patients were sampled for a second test, and the results were positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, 2 patients are isolated and treated at Bac Lieu Provincial General Hospital.
Earlier on this flight, 20 cases were recorded positive for SARS-CoV-2, isolated in Bac Lieu province. To date, this flight has recorded 22 cases of Covid-19.
– Case 1113 (BN1113) in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province: male, 37 years old, Malaysian nationality, is an oil and gas expert. On October 10, a patient from Malaysia entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight MH766, isolated in Ba Ria – Vung Tau. On 12-10, was sampled and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently the patient is isolated and treated at Ba Ria Hospital.

Thus, up to now, there are 1,113 people with Covid-19 recorded in the country. Of these, a total of 691 cases were caused by domestic infections, the remainder were cases of immediate quarantine entry. For 41 days, our country has not recorded cases of Covid-19 in the community.
Currently, there are nearly 13,900 people in close contact and entry from the epidemic area under medical monitoring (quarantine), of which: 143 isolated people are gathered at the hospital; more than 1,200 people isolated at home and in accommodation; the rest concentrated in isolation at other establishments.
During the day, 1 more patient was declared cured, bringing the total number of cured cases to 1,026 people. The person who has just been announced cured is patient 1069. This is a female patient, 18 years old, from Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province, who entered from the US to Vietnam on flight VN0002 on September 20, concentrated isolation immediately after entry in Hung Yen province.
Among the on-going patients, 24 had turned 1-3 times negative for SARS-CoV-2. Vietnam also recorded 35 deaths from Covid-19 since the beginning of the epidemic, 4 died after the declaration of Covid-19 cure.
